  The clerk subhan On Wednesday, November 15th about 10:00 pm my boyfriend and I went to the 7-Eleven to go to Redbox and get soda pop when a drunk driver pulled in with a flat tire nearly hitting a parked car and jumped the curb. The man was so drunk he could barely get out of his car and he had to hold on to the drink cases in the store to stumble to the beer. The store attendant heard the drunk driver hit the curb and went outside to see what was going on and laughed about how drunk the man was . My boyfriend told the store attendant that the man was too drunk to be driving and that the clerk should not sell him alcohol and the clerk said that's not my problem. We finished paying for our soda before the man got from the beer case to the counter so we stepped outside and got the license plate number and called 911. The drunk man could barely get his case of beer off the counter and the store attendant just laughed at him while we were on the phone with 911. The man proceeded to pull straight into traffic and drive down the middle of the road causing people to have to pull over and almost hitting multiple cars. I am both terrified and mortified that an establishment would not only sell alcohol to somebody who was so s***-faced they could barely stand but someone who is driving that way. I am shocked and appalled that the attendant said it was not his problem as I was under the impression that if you sell alcohol in Utah you are not allowed to sell to somebody who is too drunk.
