Reviews about T-Mobile

1 year and 9 months ago my wife and signed up for a plan during a promotion -- 4 lines, 10gb each, for $120 per month. We only needed two lines, but with kids who will need phones in a couple of years and in-laws thinking about moving into town, we wanted to be able to expand down the road and that 4-line plan sounded like a great thing to have in our back pocket. The rep at T-Mobile Brickyard (Bryan, I think?) told us that as long as we signed up during the promotional period, we were "locked-in" -- i.e., we'd pay $50 for each of our two lines ($100 total) and could add an additional two lines for $10 a piece down the road when we needed them ($120 total). So we signed up. In the time since then, I've looked at options like Google's Project Fi, which would save us money in the short term, but we stuck with T-Mobile because of the long-term payoff of that 4-line, 10gb each $120 rate. Well, I went into T-Mobile Brickyard today and start talking to Adam, the reigional store manager, about my plan. After trying to sell me on switching to their new unlimited plan (and on paying an extra monthly fee for some speaker or something), I explain that we don't want to swtich plans because we want to keep our option to expand to 4 lines at $120. Adam tells me that they'll no longer honor that deal -- "That used to be the plan, but it's not any more." Incredulous, I explained that when we signed up, we clarified repeatedly with the rep at T-Mobile Brickyard that we would be able to expand to 4-lines for $120 later on -- in fact, that's the entire reason we're *on* T-Mo; the earlier rep had said it wouldn't change. Adam's reply was, "Sorry, dude, it *did* change." "So, when we signed up, the rep here lied to me?" I asked. "Well, he didn't tell you the right thing -- that's probably why he doesn't work here anymore," Adam said. "But are you willing to honor what your store told me 21 months ago?" I inquired. "Can you give me the 4-lines for $120 going forward?" "Nope," Adam said, "Not unless there's another special promotion like that." "Is that what you want your reviews online to say?" I asked. "Sure," Adam said sarcastically. "Yelp it up. Go ahead and write on there that a past employee lied to you." "I will," I said, "and I'll add that 'Adam' wasn't willing to make things right." So, here it is. The reigional store manager, Adam, has confirmed that T-Mobile Brickyard has a history of employing people who lie to their customers, and that management refuses to make things right by honoring past promises. So if you visit T-Mobile Brickyard, beware: You may be lied to and left out to dry.

They will try to upsale you everything! New Sims cards you don't need but will try anyway and lots more. Cases are expensive. The employees are nice. In the end the telephone customer service helped me after going in.
