  Most of the employees don't really give a crap (I know it's a convenience store, but still). There may be four or five employees on the clock, yet only one will ever be working the register - the rest will stand around or hide in the back room. Even the manager will stand around talking to his employees rather than helping customers. Sometimes the cashier's friends from the BK next door will come over and talk with them, so that they ignore you completely. Attractive Hispanic women get waited on hand-and-foot, but otherwise you are invisible. There always seems to be someone counting money in a drawer, so you have to wait to be helped. If it weren't for the fact that this is the only gas station/convenience store within a three-mile radius of my job, I'd shop elsewhere.
